The heart of LAR is the LCC – the Luxembourg Control Center. Here all the emergency calls from abroad flow in, here the LAR members receive support in an emergency and here LAR's aircraft are coordinated. 

The LCC consists of professional medical personnel and flight planners. The medical personnel take care from A to Z of all those LAR members who find themselves in a medical emergency abroad. They record all the patient's details, clarify the medical situation and all data, remain in contact with the relatives and organize the type and timing of the return.

The flight planners coordinate the LAR's air ambulance fleet. They allocate the crew, plan the flight routes, obtain the overfly permission and the visas of the crew, and book hotels for overnight stays.
