"OUR OBJECTIVE IS TO SAVE LIVES"
Luxembourg Air Rescue has become one of the global leaders in medical repatriation. From the four corners of the globe, the Luxembourg non-profit organisation repatriates and transfers patients who are often in a critical condition. With one vision: to be the best for the good of its members and its patients.
When, in 1988, René CIoster, chairman and founder of Luxembourg Air Rescue, came up with the idea of starting an emergency helicopter rescue service in Luxembourg, no one there really believed him. Twenty-three years later, after a difficult start, the idea has become a wonderful reality. Luxembourg Air Rescue (LAR) has not only been able to develop a quality helicopter service for Luxembourg and its neighbouring countries, but the organisation has also become one of the global leaders in medical repatriation. With its German partner, DRF Luftrettung, Luxembourg Air Rescue has created European Air Ambulance. With their medically equipped jets, they carry patients, often in a critical condition, from one corner of the globe to another.
