Your Mission:

 

  • Select part and service suppliers based on operational needs (cost effectivity or TAT)

  • Order parts and services as required (based on cost effectivity or TAT)

  • Evaluate suppliers based on KPI’s (on time delivery, warranty cases) and /or supplier evaluations

  • Handling of warranty issues and negotiation of warranty claims

  • Managing the stock of spare parts, consumables and tools

  • Handling of stock minima’s and inventory control

  • Prepare and provide spare parts, tools and material to the maintenance department

  • Inspecting delivered components and goods, in regard to the related documents, packing and condition

  • Being responsible for all shipments of components (exchange, repair, overhaul, AOG parts support)

  • Ensuring regular reporting to the Maintenance Manager

  • Participate in audits (EASA, ISO)

  • Crosscheck of purchase orders versus invoices

 

Your Profile:

 

Qualifications & Knowledge

  • Ideally, you have at least 5 years experience in an aircraft maintenance environment;

  • Knowledge of logistics & supply chain and procurement is required

  • Capacity to understand technical matters

  • Knowledge of EASA & dangerous goods regulation is an asset

  • Being computer literate (MS-Office, AeroTrac or other store management IT tools)

  • Fluent in English (mandatory); Luxemburgish, German and/or French are considered as an asset

Luxembourg Air Ambulance S.A. (PART-OPS) is based at Luxembourg Airport. We fly medical repatriation missions worldwide and perform organ team transport (24/7). Presently, we operate 6 intensive care medically equipped air ambulance aircraft (Learjet 45XR) and 6 air rescue helicopters & 1 police helicopter (MD900/902).
 

Your Role

Working within the Engineering Department, you will be primarily responsible for ensuring efficient coordination with maintenance organizations and suppliers for scheduled, unscheduled and AOG events. Your duties will also include monitoring the reliability and continuous airworthiness of a fleet of 6 Learjet 45 aircraft equipped for intensive care medical transport and 6 MD902 Explorer medevac helicopters. Working full time with about 50% travel, you will report to the manager of the Engineering Department as well as to the Technical Director.

 

Your Mission:

  • Travelling to remote Part-145 facilities to follow scheduled or unscheduled maintenance events including phase-in and phase-out
  • Liaising between LAA and the MRO, ensuring acceptable standards and all regulations and evaluating aircraft airworthiness and condition prior to acceptance into service
  • Maintaining daily communications,, rigid cost control, reviewing and authorizing additional works, tracking, documenting, and reporting progress;
  • Escalating issues, working with suppliers and MROs
  • Participating in service supplier selection and evaluation and contract management;
  • Perform Continuing Airworthiness duties under Part-M subpart G;
  • Evaluate, review and update maintenance work packages
  • Gathering and reviewing maintenance events, repeat defects, MTBUR, aircraft utilization
  • Analyzing trend data, preparing and automating charts and tables
  • Preparing reliability reports, proposing corrective and preventive actions
  • Ensure compliance to regulation and safety requirements
  • Assess damages and approve and monitor repair projects
  • Participate in process analysis and improvement  

 

Your Profile:

  • Proven experience in a supervisory Part-145 function, such as Cat-C certifying staff, within a Commercial Air Transport operation
  • A diploma in Engineering or Maintenance
  • An EASA Part-66 cat B+C licence
  • Valid European B driver’s licence
  • Minimum 10 years of experience working in an EASA CAMO or Part-145 working with Commercial Air Transport aircraft AND;
  • Minimum 3 years experience as Cat C certifying staff OR 
  • 5 years experience as B1/B2 certifying staff (base maintenance)
  • Proven experience in airframe, systems and engine troubleshooting
  • Proven experience working with complex, pressurized, turbine powered, multi-engine aircraft
  • Fluent in English, written and oral
  • Professional MS Office 2010/2013/2016 skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Experience with similar type of aircraft is considered as an asset
  • Current HF, Part M and Part 145 training is preferred
  • Proven experience in project management is an asset
  • Luxembourgish, French, German language skills are considered an advantage
  • A team player, able to work autonomously with a proactive approach
