Since 1991, LAR helicopters have been operating daily in conjunction with the national emergency medical service (SAMU). Based in Findel and Ettelbrück, their strategic locations ensure a medical response in less than 10 minutes throughout the country, minimizing risks for patients. Furthermore, a cross-border helicopter extends their impact to save lives beyond borders.

We coordinate your safe return, from the initial care facility to a hospital near your home, following the receipt of medical information from a local doctor. LAR also offers its expertise in medical repatriation to insurers and other entities through its fleet at air-ambulance.com.

The Life-Saving Service
Since January 1st, 2013, the Luxembourg Control Center has been orchestrating the coordination of organ transport teams to ensure a rapid and efficient delivery of organs from donor to recipient. With approximately 800 organ transfers carried out annually, Luxembourg Air Rescue plays a significant role in providing a second chance at life to many patients.
