Since January 1st, 2013, the Luxembourg Control Center has been orchestrating the coordination of organ transport teams to ensure a rapid and efficient delivery of organs from donor to recipient. With approximately 800 organ transfers carried out annually, Luxembourg Air Rescue plays a significant role in providing a second chance at life to many patients.
